Metroid Other M killed any hopes I had of Team Ninja making a remotely decent Metroid game, yet I still have a soft spot for Samus and want to play as her this instant in the next Smash Bros., as well as play her inevitable new game for Wii U. ^^
Yeah, that aspect kinda threw me of, generally with the finicky controls (using the Wiimote horizontally). I could basically move ok left and right, sorta like a side scroller, yet most of the game made you move forward and backward or all directions like a 3D game, which sucks with a control pad because everything feels stiff moving around. And the combat of course was more fighting game than other Metroids, but still boiled down to either button mashing or dodging cheap attacks as best you can to avoid taking too much damage.
As for the story I wasn't much of a fan, but that's just me rambling overall. I'm merely bummed for having to wait so long for the next Metroid. Anyway you're entitled to enjoying whatever games you like and I'm not keeping you. XDD
no, no, that was fine. that basically what everyone said of the game ^^ i never really played it, my brother did and he said the same about the game controls. when i watched him play i liked the story but it didn't seem worth it overall. for rambling, you're pretty good at it ^o^ i wonder when they'll make the next metroid? :/
This brings back some good super smash bros memories since i would always play and lose as samus lol. On a more relevant note Really like your choice of rock scenery love all the hard angles in the stone.
